Four Rotterdam based musicians playing free improvisation rock. They were part of the Rotterdam Jazzbunker scene. Ret Marut consisted of Henk and Rob Van Schaick (tenor saxophone, bass clarinet resp.), Jola Meijer (euphonium) and Matz 'Decay' (guitar). They had two tapes released on Decay Int.

Ret Marut played at several occasions at V2_, among them at Experimentele Muziek, and during the opening and closing nights of the 3Dimension Expo (1985).
