The Center for Genomic Gastronomy is an artist-led think-tank that examines the biotechnologies and biodiversity of human food systems

Cathrine Kramer and Zack Denfeld are co-founders of the Center for Genomic Gastronomy. This artist-led think tank examines the biotechnologies and biodiversity of human food systems. The mission of the center is to map food controversies, to prototype alternative culinary futures, and to imagine a more just, biodiverse and beautiful food system. Cat and Zack are dedicated to the advancement of knowledge at the intersection of food, culture, ecology and technology. The Center presents its research through public lectures, research publications, meals and exhibitions. The Center has conducted research and exhibited in England, Germany, India, Ireland, Netherlands, Singapore and the US.
