Cesar Harada: modified beaver

Cesar Harada, from a French-Japanese background, studied music, glass-blowing and judo. He has been assistant to sculptor Tetsuo Harada, to William Kentridge's 2004 animation, and to Kobayashi's traditional Japanese carpentry.

Harada studied graphic design (Saint Martin, London), animation film (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs ENSAD, Paris), and industrial design (ENSCI Les Ateliers Saint-Sabin). While completing his Masters in New Media Arts (Paris 8), he taught graphic design at the National Superior School of Architecture of Versailles and worked as cameraman for the live performances "jeudiz" at the Pompidou. Harada studies Design Interactions at the Royal College of Art London.

Harada's work and films have been shown in Europe; as performer he took part in Urban Space Station Sofia with Natalie Jeremijenko and Angel Borrego, Reina Sofia Museum Madrid, July 2008.
