Matt Johnson (UK) is intrigued by the nature of human behavior and our relationship to objects.
Matt has completed his MA/MSc in Industrial Design at the Royal College of Art in London, and co-developed the Bare skin safe conductive ink. Bare can be applied directly onto the skin allowing the creation of custom electronic circuitry and users' interaction with electronics through gesture, movement, and touch.
Before attending the Royal College of Art, Matt circumnavigated the globe on his motorcycle and studied Economics and Fine Art at the Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. With a conceptual, mathematical and engineering background, Matt's work is ultimately focused on the nature of human behavior and our relationship to objects, and on the interfaces between design and engineering.
Matt Johnson takes part in the Test_Lab: Intimate Interfaces on December 10, 2009.
