Whilst studying Fine Art at Central St Martins, Mohammed Ali also trained as a furniture maker.
Following graduation, he worked in Radio and Television research and production,
but continued designing and making furniture during this period and after.
After joining Design Interactions in 2012, he realized he had a particular interest in
energy, especially the social, economic and political associations we have with it.
How do we challenge assumptions we have about energy and economic policy?
His work tries to unpick these relationships through scenario building and
design; speculating about alternatives to capitalism and not the end of the world.
