Rene ten Bos

René ten Bos is Professor of Philosophy in the department of management sciences at Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

He is professor of philosophy at the University of Nijmegen and honorary professor at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He is primarily interested in critical management theories and has published on various topics such as organizational ethics, strategic management and gender studies. In recent years, René ten Bos has given lectures and courses for different organizations and companies, including Corus, Philips, Akzo, Stork, Vodafone, Rabobank, Ministry of Justice, several hospitals, schools, police organizations.

He is the author of Het geniale dier (2008), Stilte, geste, stem (2011), Water (2014), and Bureaucratie is een inktvis (2015), which won the Socrates Cup for the most urgent, original and provocative Dutch philosophy book of 2015. Dwalen in het Antropoceen will be published in 2017.
