Renée Hulshoff's main interests are mechanics, philosophy, new media, and popular science. Her resulting art work includes mechanical installations such as Time Machine 1.0 or the mobile DrieXraaien, and video installations such as Cutting Marble/Cutting Sound. She also produces artistic events. Renée is graduating from the ArtScience Interfaculty in The Hague in 2010.
Renée will present Pleximo at the Test_Lab: The Invisible City, on July 8, 2010. Pleximo is a modular-mechanical installation, composed of 32 small boxes that have their
own mechanical system, and can be interconnected. Arranged differently for each exhibition, the resulting rhythm, light and sound compositions differ.
