Dr. Susan Kozel is a performer, choregrapher and writer. In 1998 she co-founded Mesh Performance Partnerships, which focuses on interactive performance and installation. She works in Canada as Lecturer in Media and Performing Arts (at the Technical University of British Columbia in Vancouver) and in England (as an Associate Researcher for the SMARTlab Centre, and previously for the INMPR, UniS). She researches the physical and philosophical vocabularies to emerge from the convergence between dance and media technologies. She has a Ph.D in philosophy from the University of Essex (UK), has performed in many countries, and is widely published.
