De-Coupled"De-Coupled" (2011) is a work by Doug Back. De-Coupled; photo: Jan Sprij Participants clip a heart rate detector onto their finger. While the participant's heart is being monitored, their pulse is sent over the internet to a circuit in the remote location. The pulse controls a small water pump in the remote location, and produces a 'sploosh' of water.
