The Brotherhood - Table III

The Brotherhood - Table III (installation overview)

The Brotherhood - Table III is a piece composed of bomber parts (military technology originating from the 'Case and Rack Assembly Bomb Navigational Surplus' of the Los Alamos National Laboratories). The installation displays flying rockets, exploding bombs and the burning oilfields in Iraq on projection screens. The visual material is hardly modified and speaks for itself in terms of efficiency. While the central theme of the piece is the role of man within the context of self destruction and the war industry, it can also be seen within man's urge to reorganize nature.
