From Wednesday 1 to Sunday 5 March V2_ is part of the Digital Days, which focus on the increasingly dependent relationship between man and technology. The programme in cooperation with the Kunsthal, SETUP and STRP includes talks, workshops, films, games and interactive installations, all of which will be of interest to both a general and a specialised public.
During the Digital Days V2_ will present the work Jardins d'Été by Quayola.
The work is inspired by the gardens at the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire, the work is an homage to the tradition of French Impressionism and the late works of Claude Monet and investigates the ways in which nature is observed, studied, and synthesized with and through technology.
Quayola is a visual artist based in London. He investigates dialogues and the unpredictable collisions, tensions and equilibriums between the real and artificial, the figurative and abstract, the old and new. His work explores photography, geometry, time-based digital sculptures and immersive audiovisual installations and performances.
