V2_ events during 1993

The V2_ theme of 1993 was "The Body in Ruins." The human body is subject to devaluation and even becomes problematic once viewed within the framework of our technological culture. In 1993 - this theme and the same-titled fifth (and last) "Manifestation for the Unstable Media" viewed at the decline of the body from an interdisciplinary angle whereby important developments in the research of the (social) sciences were linked with current developments in the arts.
