DEAF2012 Exhibition
11:00 to
18:00
location:
POST, Coolsingel 42, Rotterdam
The DEAF2012 exhibition features art works that are 'relationally'

starting point for bringing art into being. The pieces are sometimes
biological in nature, sometimes technological, and often a mix of the
two.
Includes the following works: The Mushroom Death Suit by Jae Rhim Lee, Maelstrom by Roman Kirschner, Terrestrial Ball by Kianoosh Motallebi, Sandbox by Driessens & Verstappen, Ideophone 1 by Dick Raaymakers, One Sheep Sweater by Christien Meindertsma, Pigeon d'Or by Tuur van Balen, Hostage pt. 1 & Scan by Frederik de Wilde, Notion Motion by Olafur Eliasson, Pulse by Markus Kison, Sealed by Jessica de Boer, Irrational Computing by Ralf Baecker, 15 Minutes of Biometric Fame by Marnix de Nijs, Protocell Field by Philip Beesley, Woodworms, Microphone, Sound System by Zimoun, The Small Protein Translation Machine by The Tissue Culture & Art Project, Protei by Open_Sailing, and Sentient City Survival Kit by Mark Shepard.
The OFF SITE exhibition presented the NANO Supermarket by Next Nature Network & Eindhoven University of Technology and the video installation Dear Steve by Herman Asselberghs.
