The internationally renowned media artist Marnix de Nijs presents Exploded Views 2.0, a work he developed in collaboration with V2_. The exploded views are scans of urban landscapes through which the visitor can navigate physically. For the festival WWWk De Nijs imagined a scenario in which visitors can take home an exploded view using a smartphone app. So make sure your smartphone is charged!

15.30 - 15.40: Nicky Assmann – Solaris

Rising media art star Nicky Assmann talks about her new work Solaris, in which a fluid choreography of light and movement becomes visible using soap membranes and precise lighting. At least, until the irrevocable moment at which the fragile soap membranes burst. According to the ‘grapevine’ the illustrious Saatchi gallery will exhibit this work later this year. Solaris is the follow-up work of Assmann’s Solace.
