An audience of over 40.000 attended the 14th WRO Media Art Biennale Alternative Now exhibitions, screenings, performances, concerts, talks and other events, at WRO Art Center in Poland. This year, for the first time, WRO organized a poll in which the Biennale's audience could vote for their favorite work. When the votes were counted, two installations were tied for first place: RE: by Carolien Teunisse and Bram Snijders, and Cycles by 72 Group (Daniel Bisig and Tatsuo Unemi).
The installation RE: is distributed by V2_Agency, which coordinated the exhibition of this beautiful piece by Carolien Teunisse and Bram Snijders at the WRO Media Art Biennale.
The WRO Media Art Biennale is a leading international forum for new media art in Poland and Central Europe. Since its inception in 1989, WRO has been presenting art forms created using new media for artistic expression and communication, exploring current creative territories and building a critical perspective toward emerging issues in art and society.
