Piem Wirtz and Simon de Bakker will be guest lecturers at the Willem de Kooning Academie from 22 to 26 March. During the project 'The Living’, which takes place during this week, an interactive living room will de made using soft switches. The aim is to create a living room that responds to movements, such as a light that goes on when something is put on the table or a pillow that tells you a story when your clothing gets near. Piem Wirtz will introduce the 25 students, who signed up for this project, to soft switches and creative concepts, and Simon de Bakker assists students in making their own interactive object. At the end of the week the students will present their work to each other.
