The eTextiles Workspace group (Anja Hertenberger, Leonie Urff, Ricardo O Nascimento and Meg Grant) started their project "TK Series" as part of the V2_ Summer Sessions 2011. The project takes the form of a typewriter that produces knitting.

On Saturday July 23rd and almost six weeks before the unveiling of Protei +006 during the World Port Days (September 2) and its presentation in the World of Witte de With festival (September 9, 10, 11), the Protei team travelled to De Kaag to test Protei 005.6 on the water!

In preparation for his residency, Cesar Harada visited V2_Lab last week. Together with Etienne Gernez and Henrik Rudstrøm, he built this test model for Protei, in which the basic principles of an inflatable, articulated hull were tested. Constructed from low-cost materials, the model sailed the Maas successfully.

From the beginning of Herman Asselberghs’s project 'Dear Steve', a video letter to Steve Jobs in which a MacBook Pro is taken apart, the artist wanted to make an installation out of the laptop’s components. He called it 'P.S.': A Postscript to Steve Jobs. In P.S., the viewer sees the MacBook Pro’s parts displayed in hundreds of small clear plastic bags hanging from the ceiling.
