V2_radio on archiving with Victoria Douka-Doukopoulou

The V2_radio show on Operator Radio of 13 October 2022 featured the research of Victoria Douka-Doukopoulou into the archives of V2_ and Sonic Acts.

The V2_ radio show on Operator Radio of 13 October 2022 featured 'accidental archivist' Victoria Douka-Doukopoulou. She tells about her research into the free improv orchestra MIMEO and the work of Dutch musician, composer and instrument-builder Cor Fuhler. She dived into the archives of V2_ and Sonic Acts. At V2_ she unearthed videotapes from 1999, digitised them, and at Sonic Acts she found live recordings of MIMEO. The broadcast includes fragments of the 2006 performance of MIMEO at Paradiso, Amsterdam, as part of the Sonic Acts Festival, as well as recordings of a Techno mit Störungen concert. Both concerts feature Cor Fuhler.
