Telemagic is an open-media lab that tries to make sense of the mysteries that revolve around digital technology; focussing on the human connection. Telemagic consists of the artists and designers Cyanne van der Houten, Roos Groothuizen and Ymer Marinus.

The third Test_Lab of 2017 takes the so-called 'Function Creep' as its main theme. Function Creep: 'the gradual widening of the use of a technology or system beyond the purpose for which it was originally intended.'
Roos Groothuizen is an Amsterdam-based designer and artist, who cares about digital rights.
On November 23rd 2017 Evelyn Austin of Bits of Freedom was invited by V2_ to explore the topic of function creep. Bits of Freedom wrote this column as an introduction to the evening.
