Gabriel Vanegas
Gabriel Vanegas (CO) is a media artist, investigator and art curator.
Gabriel Vanegas studied industrial design in Bogotá, Colombia, before taking his Master in Media Art at the KHM, Cologne/Germany. There, he developed the installations Expanded City, The Impossible Trip and Empty Room.
He is the director and founder of the magazine ELNIUTON, an independent Colombian cultural movement that promotes the intersection between design, science, art and technology.
Gabriel will present The Impossible Trip at the Test_Lab: The Invisible City, on July 8, 2010. An interactive sound-installation resulting from the recordings of a random journey Gabriel undertook as curator in search of artists.
