Robert Glas

Robert Glas is an artist who investigates the formal structures of the state, predominantly its laws and regulations and the technologies used to enforce them.

The artistic practice of Robert Glas (1986) consists of short films, photography and installations exhibited at the Van Abbe Museum, Kunsthal and Foam. In 2019 he received the Charlotte Köhler Prijs and the Artist-in-Residence Fellowship of the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS-KNAW). Glas lives and works in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
