Victor Elberse (NL) is an artist.
Victor Elberse is fine artist, he has a specific fascination for architectural and technological form making. In a variety of disciplines this fascination is developed and revealed. In Elberse's painting, fragments become isolated from their architectonic environment. The resulting images evoke an illusion of spaciousness. His object are sculptural volumes in which a function is introduced: prototypes for light objects and cabinet systems. The artist interprets the innate form of the materials he uses. In the lamps, for example, prefabricated elements are repetitively employed and freed from their former use to find a new function. The configuration of the cabinet system developed out of Elberse's desire to balance organic growth processes with architectonic elements.
