3x3: Isaac Monte I

During his first 3x3, Isaac Monté will conduct an experiment that revolves around questions concerning prosthetics and how they relate to the human body.

18:00 to 21:00

Within his artistic research Isaac is searching for ways to envision how an ‘artificial data organ’ would look like and how multiple prosthetics on the outside of the human body will interact, enhance and beautify the human body.

This Friday he will experiment with different ways of projecting e-health data on the outside of the body.

After retrieving data from our visitors through health measurements, Isaac Monté tries to shape and understand what happens with someone when personal data is projected on the body. You’ll be invited to join the experiment and shape new prosthetics; helping the artist to design your own ‘artificial data organ’.

3x3

Experiments are an essential part of every art practice. Even more than the end results, experiments, bèta versions and try-outs offer an inside look on how an artist thinks and works. Therefore, the experiment is made central in 3x3.

V2_ offers three artists the space, time and resources to develop three experiments. Every first Friday evening of the month the public can witness one of these experiments live. A unique experience, since no one knows what experiments will lead to…
