A chamber opera about a confused woman who finds herself on a piece of wasteland in a city. She is waiting or resting and doesn't know whether she's real, or a collection of projected images. This is not a dramatic opera with a deranged aria and death at the end - but more like a tight joint of sound and text and images. The set is a sound installation, the texts are stolen from the works of Kurt Tucholsky, Thomas Bernhard and Bild Zeitung.

The Rotterdam Snaar Project consists of the Dutch musicians Gerard van Dongen, Joe Williamson, Kora Schmeisser and Frank van Berkel.
