Julien Maire operates on the intersection of installation art, performance and media art. Since years Maire reactivates old projection techniques with the aid of contemporary technology. His manipulations provoke questions about the characteristics of the image, and about visual strategies in the digital era. In this presentation he will integrate new pieces developed in residency at Transmedia, Luca School of Arts in collaboration with V2_ Rotterdam.
