Rotterdam Museum Night 2010
Rotterdam’s art and cultural institutions were open to the public from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m during the Rotterdam Museum Night. The theme of 2010 was XS/XL.

The ninth edition of the Rotterdam Museum Night was a massive spectacle once again. Forty-five museums and galleries, including V2_, opened their doors on the night of Saturday 6 March.
On view at V2_ was French artist Maurice Benayoun’s interactive installation World Skin: A Photo Safari in the Land of War. Visitors were able to take pictures of a virtual 3D war landscape, thereby literally taking a piece of the landscape. The photographs were printed for visitors to take home.
Each year, the "Nieuwe Maan" prize is awarded for the best contribution to Museum Night. V2_ was nominated in 2009 for Daan Roosegaarde’s Liquid Space 6.0.

In parallel to the 39th edition of the IFFR (International Film Festival Rotterdam), V2_ presents "World Skin: A Photo Safari in the Land of War" an installation by the French artist Maurice Benayoun.
World Skin is an interactive installation by Maurice Benayoun. First developed for the CAVE (1997) it was realized as an installation in the context of the IFFR at V2_ in 2010.
Maurice Benayoun is a media artist. He is born in Mascara, Algeria, in 1957 and lives in Paris.
