Evening programme, curated by Lu Jie, about The Long March, part of DEAF07.
Lu Jie has curated an evening based on the concepts of The Long March. The goal of the Long March Foundation is the advancement of Chinese contemporary art through innovative programming and inter-cultural exchange. It believes that cross-cultural dialogue is critical to both Chinese and Western art practice. The name symbolizes the journey to better understand how local communities interact with the global community. Through the lens of art, The Long March seeks to represent race, gender, history and society as a continually developing process.
